Prof. Job Kohamathadam, M. Sc., Ph. D.

Founder Director of the Association of Science, Society and religion (ASSR), Pune, and the Indian Institute of Science and Religion, Dr. Job is an internationally acclaimed philosopher-scientist. He has published 6 books and over 50 academic articles in many a prestigious and widely circulating journals. He is the chief editor of Omega: Indian Journal of Science and Religion, published by ISR. Pioneer of Science-Religion movement in India, he has been inspirational to many a science-religion groups throughout the country, including ISR.

Prof. K. Babu Joseph, M. Sc., Ph.D.

Former Vice Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology, Dr. K. Babu Joseph is the Dean of research in Rajagiri College of Engineering and Technology. Winner of a number of fellowships and research programs from the government of India, he has published eight books and more than 35 technical science articles. He has presented several papers and given talks on various themes in science and religion including the “Frontiers in Quantum Theology” in CTNS-SRCP International Symposium in Pune, 2000. He was elected fellow of the Indian Institute of Science and Religion in the year 2003 and his research was on the religious implications of Quantum Mechanics. He is a recipient of the International Science-Religion Course Award of the John Templeton Foundation. He writes regularly on science, philosophy and religion in the leading weeklies journals of Kerala.

K.S.Radhakrishnan, M. A., Ph.D.

Former Vice Chancellor of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, Dr. Radhakrishnan is a prominent figure in the intellectual circle of Kerala. A journalist and educationist, he has published more than10 books and a number of articles in leading journals in vernacular and English. Dr. Radhakrishnan is a Gandhian by choice, learning and temperament, and has distinguished himself as a leading figure in Science- religion dialogue by presenting a number of papers in various national and international seminars.

C. S. Paulose, M. Sc., Ph.D.

Dr. C. S. Paulose is The Former Head of the Department of Biotechnology and the Director of the Centre for Neuroscience in Cochin University of Science and Technology. He is a recipient of several national and international awards. Having done his post doctoral studies in USA, he has guided over 20 Ph. Ds. He is a regular presence in almost all of the seminars and workshops organized by the ISR.

Prof. T.V. Antony, M. Sc., Ph.D.

Having specialized in Physical organic chemistry, Dr. T.V. has been professor of Biochemistry at St. Joseph’s college, Trichy, since 1963. He has guided nearly 10 Ph.D. dissertations and 50 M Phil. Papers and has also presented papers on science-religion dialogue in international conference held at Pune and at various conferences in Kerala. He is presently guest faculty member at CUSAT. His special interest in science-religion dialogue has remarkably contributed to the multi-dimensional growth of science-Religion Dialogues in Kerala.

P.Basak,M. Tech., Ph.D. Engg.

An internationally acclaimed scientist and philosopher, Dr. Basak obtained his doctorate from IIT, Kanpur on Civil Engineering. Owing to his outstanding academic performance and intellectual prodigy, he has been selected Ford Foundation Fellow, USA and Fellow of institution of Civil Engineering in India. He has published more than 250 Research publications in leading scientific journals in USA, Europe, Australia and India. NATIONAL AWARD WINNER from president of India (January 26, 1972) for outstanding contributions in water resources and co-coordinator of many research training and developmental projects funded by National and International Agencies .WHO National Consultant of the Ministry of Rural Development of Govt. of Indian from 1994 to 1996, he was the first Director of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (AJCE), Kanjirapally, Kerala.

Kuruvilla Pandikattu, M. Sc., Ph. D.

Dr. Kuruvilla Pndikattu has done his masters degree in physics and has obtained two doctorates, in philosophy and theology. A full time Reader of Philosophy at Jnana - Deepa Vidyapeeth, he is also the moderator of Jnanam discussion group (www.jnanam.org), a discussion group for Science- Religion Dialogue in India. He has published over 10 books and numerous articles on related themes and is widely acclaimed and sought after for his academic brilliance, and teaching skills. He has presented papers in over 30 international conferences.

Fr. Augustine Pamplany, M. Sc., Ph. D.

Founder-director of ISR, Dr. Augustine has obtained his doctorate from the Open International University, Colombo. He won the Science- Religion Course Award of the Centre for Theology and natural Science, Berkeley, California, in 2003, and the Templeton Foundation's Award in 1997. He is at present a fellow of the Global perspectives on Science and Spirituality under Interdisciplinary University, Paris and the Elon University, USA. He has published six books and over 20 articles on related topics in peer reviewed journals. Managing editor and Publisher of Omega: Indian Journal of Science and Religion, he is also editorial advisor to the Online Science - Religion Journal of the Metanexus Institute, Philadelphia and regular Book Reviewer to the Magazine, Science- Theology News by the John Templeton Foundation. Presently Rector of the Little Flower Seminary, he is also guest faculty in Science and Religion and on Philosophy of Science in a number of Institutes of Philosophy and Religion in India.
